MomRise Creator Agreement
1.What you get
A unique creator code and share link (momrise.app/c/your-code). When someone subscribes to MomRise using your code, you earn a percentage of their gross subscription revenue, paid monthly via Stripe Connect once your pending balance reaches $25. Your specific revenue-share percentage is set on your account and shown in your dashboard; we may adjust it with notice or negotiate a different rate with you in writing.
Earnings become payout-eligible 45 days after they are credited. This holdback means we pay you only after Apple (or Stripe) has actually settled the underlying subscription revenue to MomRise — we pay you when we get paid — and it allows refunds and chargebacks to settle first. Your dashboard always shows your pending balance, the portion within the holdback window, and the date your balance pays out.
2.What credits to you
First attribution wins. If a user enters your code during sign-up, on the paywall, or in settings, every subscription payment they make — including auto-renewals — credits to you, for as long as they stay subscribed and your code remains the active one on their account. If they later enter a different creator's code, future payments go to that creator instead.
3.What you agree to do
- Disclose paid partnerships clearly. When you mention MomRise on any platform, label it as a paid partnership or affiliate relationship. This isn't optional — it's FTC law in the US (and increasingly elsewhere). We provide standardized disclosure language in your dashboard.
- Promote honestly. Recommend MomRise because you've actually used it and think it helps. Don't make claims we haven't made (e.g., medical or specific parenting outcomes).
- Use approved channels. Your real social accounts, newsletters, podcasts, real conversations with people you know. Not: spam, mass-DMs, paid traffic bots, fake reviews, or impersonating MomRise.
- Keep tax info current on your Stripe Connect account. Stripe issues 1099-Ks to US creators at the federal threshold; you're responsible for your own income taxes regardless.
4.What we agree to do
- Pay you promptly once the underlying subscription revenue has settled to us from Apple or Stripe — via our monthly payout run (currently the 10th), business-day delays excepted — for any payout-eligible balance above the $25 minimum. Your dashboard always shows the date your balance pays.
- Show you your performance data — followers acquired, subscribers, monthly revenue, retention — in your dashboard.
- Email you when an earning lands and when a payout transfers.
- Tell you, with as much notice as we can, before changing your rate or other material terms.
5.What we won't do
- Change your past earnings retroactively. If your rate changes, only new earnings reflect the new rate.
- Pay you for fraudulent or self-referred subscriptions (e.g., duplicate accounts you control, accounts created solely to claim your code).
6.Termination
- You can leave anytime. Email us; we'll pay out any pending balance over $25 with your next monthly cycle. Balances below $25 are forfeit on termination.
- We can pause or revoke your code if you breach this agreement, your audience reports your content as misleading, or extended inactivity (no new subscribers for 12 months). We'll tell you why.
7.Confidentiality
You'll see your own performance data — share whatever you want about your own results. Don't share aggregate platform data we send you (other creators' numbers, internal beta features, business plans).
8.Boring legal stuff
- No employment relationship. You're an independent contractor. You set your own promotion schedule, voice, and content.
- Liability cap. Our liability is capped at the total payouts we've sent you in the last 12 months. You're not liable to us beyond returning any payouts that turn out to be fraudulent.
- Governing law: The State of Alabama, USA.
- Disputes: Good-faith email first; binding arbitration if that fails.
- Changes: We may update this agreement. We'll email you at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continuing to use your code after that = acceptance.
9.Contact
Email creators@momrise.app for anything. We read it.
