- ½ cup unsalted Butter, (melted and cooled)
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 large Eggs
- ¼ teaspoon Baking Soda
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
- ½ cup Cocoa Powder
- 1 ½ cups Chocolate Chips*
Instructions
- Start by preheating your oven to 350°F. Line a 9”X9” metal baking pan with parchment or foil. Melt the butter and let it cool.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooled butter, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Add the eggs and stir until everything is well blended.
- Combine the dry ingredients—baking soda, salt, flour, and cocoa powder—with the wet mixture. Mix until just combined, then fold in the chocolate chips. The batter will be thick.
- Pour the batter into your prepared pan and bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool for 30 minutes before slicing.
